Refund policy

Caracal TV Art sells digital art files only. After payment you get a download link. Nothing is shipped.

In short

You can cancel within 14 days, as long as the download has not started.
At checkout you ask for the download to be available right after payment. Once the download starts, you can no longer cancel.
A faulty file, a file that does not open, or a file that is not as described: you get a new file or your money back.
We refund to the payment method you used, within 14 days.

Your right to cancel (right of withdrawal)

As a consumer, you normally have 14 days to cancel an online purchase without giving a reason. This is called the right of withdrawal.

For a digital file, this right ends when the download starts. This is because at checkout:

you ask us to make your download available right after payment, and
you agree that you lose your right of withdrawal once the download starts.

We confirm both in your order confirmation email.

This rule comes from Article 16(m) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and article 6:230p of the Dutch Civil Code.

You have not started the download yet

You can still cancel within 14 days after the day of your order. Email us at enes@caracalproject.com with your order number, or use the form at the end of this page. You do not need to give a reason. You are in time if you send your message before the 14 days end.

After you cancel, please do not download the file.

The download has started

You can no longer cancel. We do not refund a file because you changed your mind. A faulty file is different: see below.

Faulty file, file does not open, or not as described

Tell us when:

the file is damaged or does not open, or
the file is not what the product page describes. For example: a different image, a size smaller than 3840 x 2160 pixels, or a watermark on the file.

Then you choose: we send you a new file, or we refund the full price.

These are not faults:

You changed your mind after the download started.
Your TV or screen cannot show a JPG image of 3840 x 2160 pixels. Our Terms of service say what you need.
Small color differences between screens. Every screen shows colors a little differently.

How to ask

Email enes@caracalproject.com with:

your order number,
the name of the artwork,
what is wrong (a screenshot or photo helps),
the TV or screen you use.

Please ask within 30 days of your order, so we can check the file quickly. Your legal rights for a faulty file do not end after 30 days.

We reply as soon as we can, and at the latest within 14 days.

How you get your money back

We refund to the payment method you used.
We refund within 14 days after we receive your cancellation, or after you tell us you want a refund for a faulty file.
You pay no fees for the refund.
Your bank or payment provider may need a few extra days to show the refund.

After a refund, please delete the file. Your license to use it ends.

Withdrawal form

Use this form only if you want to cancel and the download has not started. An email with the same details is also fine.
